A soft colour pallette of blue, pink, green and brown make this a kit which was a bit of a departure for me. I almost always include lilac somewhere in my designs, lol! It's not just for kids though, the colours and patterns would also be perfect for vintage layouts. You get 10 papers, all softly patterned and textured. All in 12 x 12 and jpeg format. Elements include 3 silky bows, 2 spotted bows, 2 tiny spotted bopws, for the buttons. 5 decorative buttons and 5 regualr buttons. A pair of crossed staples. 1 cardboard frame and 1 frayed frame. 2 coloured childrens picturres, a jack in a box and a wagon, 5 stamped images of toys. And a colour wheel which you can also use as a muti-photo frame. All elements are in png format and eveything has been created at 300 dpi. Not everything is shown on the preview! This kit was my part of the NDISB Treasure Hunt for NSD, so if you played along with that and downloaded the full kit, don't purchase this as you will already have it!scrapdr

Inspired by a request from our very own CT member Susan, who is currently running Genealogy classes in the forum.
Susan requested some newspaper elements and this kit just grew from there. Better still, I collaborated with another one of our fabulous designers Barb Speck, to create a mega kit, so you can get everything you need to document and celebrate your family history in just one kit!
This is just my part of the kit. We decided to make them available as separate kits as well as a full mega kit, so you have the complete versatility to get whichever bits you want or need. I have also made my paper and element packs available separately for even more versatility.
The paper pack contains 10 papers. Just one paper has a tree pattern on it, which is based on a photograph of the Major Oak in Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, UK. Probably one of the world’s most notorious trees, made famous by the stories of Robin Hood hiding inside it to escape the clutches of the Sherriff of Nottingham! Many years ago, I sat inside this tree myself and it was rather spooky. These days, it is propped up by numerous posts and fenced off to protect it.
The other 9 papers come in various shades of blue, brown and green and have been deliberately kept solid so you can use the overlays and newspaper templates included in the element pack. But these papers are so versatile; they can be used for any type of layout, not just genealogy. The papers are all 12 x 12 and in jpg format and were created at 300 dpi.

I'm a simple person with simple likes and dislikes. I hate fuss, arguments, nastiness, dishonesty and cruelty, especially
to children, animals and people who can't defend themselves. I love animals, kids, music, books, film, scrapbooking,
cardmaking, jewellery making, home decorating, sewing, baking and working on my PC! I procrastinate too much, spend
too much, care too much and love too much. I get hurt easily and I'm too sensitive and emotional.
I've travelled all the way around the world, and back again, written poetry and had my work published, been through
the mill with my health problems, had my heart broken and felt so happy I could burst!
Oh, and BTW, I LOVE lilac! And you know what? I wouldn't change a thing, because I firmly believe that all the
things that happen to you in life make you the person you are. And I sort of kinda like me just as I am!
